A lot of people in the world want to make a difference. Many think that if they kill themselves message will get out there for everyone to see. And, you know what? It does. But not always in the way that they expect it to go.

For most of us, life is about breaking down and finding opportunities to improve ourselves. However, sometimes we need to break down and look to the people around us who overcome their difficulties to help change the world around them. These people choose not to kill themselves.

These people had chosen life over suicide. These people went through depression, helplessness, despair, and sorrow, but they changed their lives and became legends.

1. Helen Keller

Helen Keller was a deaf-blind person. Blind and deaf since infancy, Helen Keller overcame her disabilities to become a famous lecturer, author, and political activist.
