What is narcissism and what are the different definitions of Narcissism.

Narcissism is a personality disorder marked by an inflated sense of self-importance and an excessive need for admiration. People with narcissistic personality disorder may be very charming and convincing, but they are also often self-centered, demanding, and insensitive.

“Erotic gratification is derived from admiration of one’s own physical or mental attributes, being a normal condition at the infantile level of personality development.”

What Are the Symptoms of Narcissism?

Narcissism is a personality disorder characterized by a lack of self-awareness and excessive admiration of one’s own abilities. People with narcissism often have a grandiose view of themselves, believe they are superior and lack empathy for others. They may be highly self-absorbed and think they’re entitled to special treatment.
